Furniture "Kipp-Kopp"

Project made for "Young Contract Creations Award 2008: Upholstery" competition. My project “Kipp-Kopp” is about how children’s space can integrate naturally in the hotel space and create one and indivisible lobby landscape. This concept is trying to bring pure, fresh and contemporary architectural idea of the lobby space. This system is a combination of children’s and adult’s furniture, and can be developed quite widely. Furniture and a toy, it stimulates imagination and communication. The flexible design of floor cushion gives a number of ways to use the cube; as huge building blocks that challenge their way of building, balancing and playing, as a quiet place for relax, reading and storytelling. Manufactured from birch plywood, polyurethane covered with removable fabric (Trevira cs, Relivio by Fidivi) that makes the soft surface durable and easy to clean.
